    I would add that the various holiday visas are a great benefit for all parties – it allows the visa holder to get a feel for the country and help them decide whether they would like to pursue a future in Australia – the Australian economy also gets to benefit due to the availability of seasonal and temp workers: many areas of the Oz economy rely on such short term work.
