I really do not believe that there has been a better time to actually stay in the UK for that summer holidays. I really do think that these reasons are behind why so many people will be taking a break it Britain this year.
The Ash Cloud
This has been a constant annoyance to people looking to leave the country this year and it would seem that it is going to continue to be a menace to everyone flying in and out of the UK across the entire summer. I really do not think that it is worth risking it all by booking everything? You are not going to get your money back on this kind of thing unless you have insurance, I bet a lot of people already do not have it. If you do not you will find yourself missing out on the holiday and of course the money you spent too.
Exchange Rates
I believe that thanks to the new government change the exchange rates have fallen. Currently the dollar is sitting at 1.4 compared to the British pound and this is very bad indeed so it may actually be worth holding off on that summer break away to foreign lands this year and heading off to somewhere a bit more closer to home.
Interesting Things
There are many interesting things that can be done in Britain and they range from things like holidays in Devon to Spa breaks and bowls holidays. There are things that appeal to people of all ages from theme parks to relaxing breaks away for just the two of you.
One of the main things you should not do is forget Britain when it comes to taking a trip away, it could be that you really enjoy it.
