Who Needs to Have A Dubai Visa?
France welcomes people to visit their place and at times needs other nationals to avail or apply for a France Visa before they can come, but sometimes there’s no need for it. This condition depends on:
Your nationality
Depending on the Schengen Agreement, they look into if you are holding a residence permit in France or from another country or not
How long you intend to stay
Which part of the country you are planning to visit
There are countries that are considered to be part of its European territory and these are as follows: Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Iceland, Lithuania, Estonia, Luxembourg, Malta, Greece and more.
Country Citizens that France don’t need to require a France Visa are the following:
1. Members of the Schengen countries: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bermuda, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Holy See, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela & Member States of the European Union and the European Economic Area (EEA);
2.Those holders of passports that have been issued by the Special Administrative Region of Macao of the People’s Republic of China and those by Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
3.Those people who hold residence permit or travel documents from the countries that are mentioned above as member of the Schengen Agreement and those who hold a France residence permit.
While France Visa is not required for those citizens who meet the requirements mentioned above, they are still subject to the following terms and conditions:
Agrees that they are only allowed to stay for 90 days and there’s no more extension allowed. They need to declare the number of days they plan to stay.
Valid reasons for visiting France are: sight-seeing, to visit family members and friends, intention to look around for possible study, among others.
A France Visa is required if you are planning to stay for more than 90 days
If you want to apply for a French Visa because you want to stay longer or because you do not fall under the category mentioned above wherein you are exempted from presenting a visa and thus you want to apply for a short-stay visa, the following are your requirements:
1.Bring you passport. The passport must not be expiring for your full travel, particularly within 3 months or more.
2.Recently taken passport size photos. Two copies of it. Photo must have been taken not more than two months before application and it must have a plain, solid white background.
3.Filled up application form for the visa with your signatures. If applicant is below 18 years old, parents must affix their signature. Application forms must not have erasures.
